Join YouTube's Consumer Experience Operations team as a Senior Staff Software Engineer. You'll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, and Legal teams to enhance user support experiences across platforms like NFL Sunday Ticket, YouTube TV, YouTube Music, Premium, Shopping, and Fan Funding. Architect technical solutions for AI-powered troubleshooting partners. Utilize YouTube's support, policy, and troubleshooting data to refine assistive experiences. Define entity schemas for the entire support lifecycle and establish interfaces for seamless interoperability with First-Party (1P) and Third-Party (3P) tools. Develop and implement strategies for quality measurement and improvement. Collaborate with Studio UTLs and YouTube ATLs to advance Studio and YouTube infrastructure, enabling enhanced assistive creator experiences.
Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Bring at least 8 years of software development experience, encompassing programming languages, data structures, and algorithms. Include 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, complemented by 1 year of experience in software design and architecture. Experience with applied Generative AI in large-scale consumer applications and familiarity with quality measurement for AI-powered products are preferred. A strong track record of individual contributions and excellent teamwork and communication skills are highly valued.
