Seeking a Senior Lead DevOps Engineer to architect, automate, and manage secure, highly available production platforms on AWS. This pivotal role demands extensive hands-on expertise in AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, observability, scripting, and production incident management. The engineer will spearhead DevOps design and implementation, establish robust engineering standards, provide critical support for production environments, and mentor team members. A deep understanding of designing multi-Availability Zone and disaster-recovery architectures is crucial.

Lead the design and implementation of DevOps strategies. Establish and enforce engineering standards for DevOps practices. Provide essential support for critical production environments. Mentor and guide fellow team members on DevOps best practices. Architect and manage highly available and resilient production platforms on AWS. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery. Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents with a focus on root cause analysis. Ensure systems operate within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

A minimum of 13 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or production operations. Extensive hands-on experience architecting and managing AWS environments, including services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch. Proven expertise in designing high-availability, multi-Availability Zone, and disaster-recovery solutions. Advanced proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code. Strong CI/CD experience utilizing Jenkins and Git/Bitbucket. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with observability tools like ELK Stack, Filebeat, and Grafana. Solid Linux administration skills on Ubuntu or RHEL. Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting. Experience configuring and supporting web servers like Nginx and Apache Tomcat. Exceptional production troubleshooting, debugging, incident management, and root-cause-analysis capabilities. Demonstrated ability to lead complex DevOps initiatives and guide engineering teams.
