Seeking a highly experienced Senior Staff Engineer specializing in AI and data platforms. This role demands extensive expertise in technical product management, particularly within regulated environments like payments, fintech, or banking. You will be instrumental in shaping and leading our AI and data strategies.

This is a senior individual contributor role requiring deep technical understanding and strategic vision. You will influence product direction and collaborate closely with engineering leadership.

Lead the product strategy and roadmap for our advanced data and AI platforms.

Drive the development and enhancement of data products, ensuring they meet the needs of regulated industries.

Engage deeply with engineering teams on architectural decisions, leveraging your hands-on experience in data or ML engineering.

Champion best practices in data governance, compliance, and security, particularly PCI DSS.

Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including CTO and CIO, to drive alignment and influence without authority.

A minimum of 20 years in technical product management, with at least 8 years dedicated to data and AI platforms is essential.

Demonstrated experience owning data platform products within regulated sectors such as payments, fintech, or banking is highly preferred.

Possess a solid hands-on background in data engineering or ML engineering, enabling credible discussions on technical architecture.

Familiarity with cloud-native data stacks including AWS, Redshift, SQL Server, and streaming platforms like Kafka/MSK.

Strong knowledge of PCI DSS, data governance frameworks, and compliance-led product design.

Proven ability to manage distributed, cross-geographical engineering teams effectively.

Exceptional executive communication skills are required to present to and influence C-level stakeholders.
