As the Senior Staff Architect for CT Systems and IQ, you will spearhead the CT Systems and IQ team. Your role will involve close collaboration with Subsystem Architects, System designers, and the LSD office to ensure optimal processes for the Design & Development of CT system image chains. You will fine-tune systems for peak performance within established design guidelines and limitations. This position requires working with global, cross-functional teams to manage technical execution and system performance, ensuring timely delivery of design outcomes within scope and adhering to quality management requirements.

Lead and design the CT product image chain with complete ownership. Own and deliver systems projects involving the integration of key image chain components to achieve optimal image quality within product constraints. Drive innovation studies to expand the clinical applications of CT systems within design limitations. Provide support for field and factory issues related to image quality, and develop solutions to meet customer needs. Coordinate with system/product teams to understand subsystem impacts on clinical system requirements. Guide and mentor system designers on the latest design techniques, introduce modern design practices, and ensure consistency and efficiency across CT products. Establish product requirements, define components, and outline subsystems for the overall architecture. Develop forward-looking strategies for platform and technology development to maintain product competitiveness. Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices for product, process, or service improvement, staying informed of industry trends. Ensure scalable, sustainable, and fault-tolerant solutions through detailed comparative analysis of options. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across sites to manage technical program risks, integration risks, and design trade-offs. Contribute to product strategy, drive architectural decisions, and devise solutions for complex customer problems. Provide technical leadership and define, develop, and evolve designs in a fast-paced, agile environment using cutting-edge technologies and infrastructure.

This position requires extensive experience in Engineering/Technology and Systems Architecture and Design, with a knowledge level comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 15 years of technical experience, demonstrating established technology leadership across various disciplines and functions.

Experience working with imaging modalities and managing system design responsibilities is essential.

Proficiency in designing and developing HW, SW, and Systems is required, with a preference for experience in medical devices such as CT, PET-CT, X-Ray, or MR.

Expertise in collaborating with diverse stakeholders, influencing decisions, and adopting a strategic perspective is critical.

A proven history of successful problem definition, rigorous architecture/design practices, technical decomposition, and project estimation is necessary.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are expected, including the ability to effectively evaluate information, anticipate obstacles, and develop resolution plans.
