This role is for an experienced networking software engineer with a strong technical background and comfort in engaging with enterprise customers.

You will be part of a dedicated Solutions Engineering team, focusing on critical areas such as Networking, DGX Platforms, Container Orchestrators, Deep Learning containers, and other enterprise system software.

Our Software Solution Engineers dedicate approximately half of their time to resolving customer challenges and the other half to research and development. The ideal candidate will possess a proven understanding of datacenter and networking technologies, enabling them to deliver robust solutions for complex installations, maintenance, and operational issues across a wide range of advanced networking products.

Take full ownership and drive customer issues related to Ethernet or InfiniBand network adapter/DPU deployments from start to resolution.

Develop new features and tools as part of solution engineering initiatives to enhance our comprehensive Enterprise Service offerings, including our advanced Networking products.

Collaborate closely with NVIDIA Enterprise customers and internal stakeholders to significantly improve the availability, reliability, and overall user experience with NVIDIA Networking products.

Apply independent analysis, effective communication, and strong problem-solving skills to elevate the customer experience.

Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to thoroughly document, meticulously recreate, and efficiently solve complex issues.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Possess at least 5 years of experience in system software development and troubleshooting, with a preference for customer-facing roles.

Demonstrated experience in developing with C/C++ within kernel, application space, or embedded software environments.

Strong proficiency in GNU/Linux, including its tools, utilities, kernel, and networking stack, along with expertise in Linux-based virtualization technologies like namespaces, containers, and Kubernetes (K8s).
