This pivotal role involves leading a team responsible for the entire Workspace Commerce charter, including product catalog, subscription management, billing, and payment integrations. You'll drive strategic vision and roadmap development, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and business impact.

Lead, manage, and grow a talented engineering team focused on Workspace Commerce. Partner with senior leadership to define the multi-year strategic vision and roadmap for the Commerce platform. Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence, velocity, and business-impact-driven development. Manage strategic cross-functional relationships with Product and other engineering organizations. Set and communicate team priorities aligned with organizational goals, and align strategy across teams. Provide regular feedback, coaching, and development support to individual team members. Develop and evolve the long-term technical vision and roadmap, anticipating future requirements and infrastructure needs. Oversee system designs and review product/system development code to solve complex problems.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Possess 8 years of software development experience in languages like Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript. Bring 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role and 5 years in a people management or team leadership capacity. A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred. Experience in a complex, matrixed organization is a plus.
