This role involves developing innovative applications using modern UI frameworks and scalable backend microservices, all within established architectural guidelines. You will design, implement, test, and troubleshoot software components, ensuring high levels of quality, performance, and reliability. Collaboration within Agile/Scrum teams is key to delivering new product features iteratively. You will also play a vital role in supporting and improving CI/CD pipelines, contributing to build, deployment, and automation efforts for cloud-native applications.

Lead the development and delivery of applications leveraging modern UI frameworks and scalable backend microservices. Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot software components and features to ensure exceptional quality, performance, and reliability. Develop micro-products and services using React/Next.js for the front-end and Spring Boot/Python for the backend. Contribute to building AI-enabled features, including exposure to Generative AI and agent-based workflows. Develop and enhance user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, focusing on usability and maintainability. Optimize database queries and stored procedures using MS SQL and work with GraphQL APIs. Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver new product features. Actively participate in code reviews to enhance code quality. Support and improve CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications. Build and execute automated tests for UI, backend, and APIs in a TDD environment. Manage test data for automation and engineer solutions for metrics reporting. Demonstrate expertise in black box and grey box testing methodologies. Develop in-depth system and product knowledge, and continuously evaluate test automation strategies. Assist and mentor Automation QA testers, providing recommendations for script development and framework usage. Partner with product owners and developers to identify efficiency improvements and research new tools. Assist with DevOps support and comply with company policies and employment contracts.

An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in application development is essential, with practical exposure to React-based UI, Java/Spring Boot microservices, and API-driven architectures. Demonstrated experience contributing to reusable backend services or shared components used by multiple applications or teams. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress is crucial. Experience defining and reporting Quality Engineering metrics is necessary. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of Quality engineers. A solid understanding of building secure, reliable, and scalable systems is expected. Practical exposure to applying AI/ML or NLP concepts to real-world problems is beneficial. Experience with API testing/automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate is required. Cross-browser testing/automation using platforms like Sauce Labs or Browser Stack is necessary. Solid expertise in building scenarios with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Spec flow is required. Demonstrated delivery of solutions that promote code reuse, maintainability, and faster development. Proven solid coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Willingness and ability to learn, collaborate, and share knowledge with peers. Demonstrated ability to design and build test automation frameworks from scratch. Proven ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced Agile environment. Solid communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
