Join Google's Creator Platform team as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on YouTube Live. You'll contribute to developing cutting-edge technologies that empower creators worldwide.

This role involves building a scalable creator platform, enhancing the YouTube Live experience, and working at the intersection of technology and creativity. You will be part of a dynamic environment that values innovation and community.

Take ownership of the Live control room infrastructure and scale its architecture to support diverse client teams. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the newly formed live team in Bengaluru. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Bengaluru and San Bruno to deliver reliable and modern live streaming features. Enhance third-party APIs to support and scale the broader third-party creator ecosystem.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Possess 5 years of experience in mobile applications and back-end services development, proficient in languages like Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript. Demonstrate 3 years of experience in software product testing, maintenance, or launch, along with 1 year in software design and architecture. A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred, alongside 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
