You will be instrumental in developing integrated solutions that enhance our comprehensive Spend Suite, which encompasses corporate cards, expense management, procurement, and bill pay. Collaborate closely with Product Management and cross-functional Engineering teams (Frontend, UX) to uphold high standards of quality in a dynamic, iterative development environment. Occasionally take on product management responsibilities to drive feature development. Build complex and high-scope features that address significant technical challenges. Actively participate in planning sessions, conduct thorough code reviews, and contribute to the growth and knowledge sharing within the team. Translate high-level business requirements into robust software designs and effectively communicate these designs to fellow developers. Provide mentorship and guidance to Junior and Intermediate Engineers, fostering their technical growth and promoting autonomy.

A minimum of 6 years of professional programming experience is essential. You should possess the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing your duties. Experience with our preferred technology stack, including Go, Python, Django, MongoDB, and AWS, is highly advantageous. A strong foundation in Computer Science principles is required. The capacity to thrive in ambiguous situations by identifying opportunities for impact and proactively pursuing them is key. Prior experience in the travel domain is considered a plus.
