Our Quality Engineering roles are distinct, requiring robust software development expertise on par with software developers. This involves close collaboration to build test automation, develop test infrastructure, and conduct code analysis and reviews, thereby embedding quality into the development cycle. This position will be instrumental in advancing Quality Engineering best practices within Mastercard, working with teams to deliver applications and solutions that precisely meet the needs of consumers, merchants, issuers, and governments.
Play an integral role in advancing quality initiatives to enhance product development and delivery. Collaborate closely with development teams to refine and improve existing software development processes. Champion Quality Engineering methodologies and contribute to building high-caliber software. Partner with developers to streamline and automate test and release procedures. Ensure that quality becomes an embedded aspect of the software development lifecycle.
Proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, RESTful services, JSON, and XML. Experience with unit testing frameworks like Junit. Familiarity with Git-based version control systems, such as Bitbucket. Skilled in testing frameworks including TestNG and Spock. Ability to develop acceptance and integration automation tests, and integrate with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Bamboo and code coverage tools like Sonar. Solid experience with Linux and shell scripting. Proven experience working within Agile methodologies. Demonstrated experience collaborating with developers to ensure systems are designed for reliability, performance, and testability. Exposure to and knowledge of cloud-based applications. Proficiency in SQL, specifically with Oracle DB.
