As a Senior Software Engineer (L5) on the Detection and Response AI team, you will drive critical workstreams autonomously. You'll translate organizational goals into technical roadmaps, identifying and leading key problem-solving initiatives. Collaborating with a peer Tech Lead, you'll define multi-quarter technical strategies and architectural direction, amplifying the impact of junior engineers.

Take end-to-end ownership of security and privacy detection AI workstreams. Operate with significant autonomy, transforming ambiguous goals into clear technical roadmaps. Research, identify, and lead critical problem-solving efforts for the team. Collaborate with a Tech Lead to define multi-quarter technical initiatives and architectural direction. Build multi-agent systems for autonomous security event triage, investigation, and remediation. Architect governance frameworks, evaluation pipelines, and observability dashboards for security AI. Operate key enterprise platforms for critical communications during major incidents. Scope and define solutions within the detection and response space to advance organizational strategy. Set technical direction, author design documents, and lead design reviews for complex features. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve architectural dependencies and align project timelines. Guide, mentor, and delegate tasks to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative culture.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Minimum of 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages. Possess 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security, such as identity and access management. Have 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products. 1 year of experience in software design and architecture is essential.

Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. Experience in security systems, artificial intelligence, and machine learning is highly valued. Demonstrated success as a technical lead and experience navigating high-ambiguity environments to define technical strategy are also beneficial.
