As part of the Detection AI team, you will spearhead end-to-end ownership of key workstreams, driving innovation in security event detection and response. Define and scope complex problems within the security detection and response domain, enabling organizational strategies to advance the detection pipeline.

Establish technical direction, author detailed design documents, and lead design reviews for intricate, multi-quarter features within the team.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional peers and sister software engineering teams to resolve architectural dependencies and align project timelines.

Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, delegating tasks effectively to foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

You should possess at least 5 years of experience in software development, with proficiency in one or more programming languages. Additionally, 3 years of experience is needed in building software for data privacy or security applications, such as identity and access management.

Further requirements include 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience in software design and architecture. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and 1 year in a technical leadership role. Experience with security systems, artificial intelligence, and machine learning is also highly valued, along with a proven track record of leading engineering teams and navigating high-ambiguity environments to define technical strategy.
