Our Core Payments team is responsible for developing critical functionalities like Authorization, Clearing, and Debit. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with mainframe development expertise to create cutting-edge solutions within this domain. This role involves hands-on development and leadership, contributing to a sustainable world that unlocks priceless possibilities.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop high-performance software that meets evolving business requirements. You will act as a Technical Lead, proposing innovative solutions and guiding the team. Key responsibilities include leading initiatives for automation, defect metrics, and overall quality improvement. You will also manage coordination between globally distributed teams and ensure project success.

Additional duties involve maintaining and presenting project metrics for management review. You will be instrumental in driving automation and code quality initiatives. The role requires coordinating with various internal groups and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are tracked effectively. You will also be involved in full lifecycle development projects, leveraging various methodologies.

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with a strong background in batch and online development. Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, PROC, Microfocus COBOL, and TWS Scheduler is essential. Experience with DB2 LUW is also required.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of software development principles and experience with Agile methodologies. An understanding of the Payment and Cards industry is highly desirable. You should possess strong communication skills and the ability to guide junior talent in implementing effective solutions. Exposure to CI/CD, Java/J2EE, and Spring Boot would be considered an added advantage. We value individuals who are result-oriented and have a proven track record in automation and code quality.
