As a Senior Software Engineer, you will analyze, design, develop, and deliver robust software solutions. This includes defining requirements for new applications, adhering to Mastercard's standards and best practices, and developing/testing applications for seamless integration. You will also provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient system development.

Key accountabilities include planning and designing technical solutions, leading daily system development and maintenance to meet SLAs, and managing the full system development lifecycle. This encompasses creating detailed technical artifacts, conducting root cause analysis for production incidents, and providing on-call support. You will research emerging technologies, participate in Proofs of Concept, and collaborate with vendors to support products.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in backend development, specifically with Java. A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience, is required. A strong understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies is essential.
