Your duties will encompass the entire software development lifecycle, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing sophisticated software solutions. You will also take part in or lead design reviews, critically evaluating technologies with peers and stakeholders.

Further responsibilities include meticulously reviewing code from fellow developers, providing constructive feedback to uphold best practices in style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency. You'll contribute to and update technical documentation and educational content, adapting to product changes and user feedback. Additionally, you will be responsible for triaging and resolving complex product or system issues by analyzing root causes and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations.

To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, alongside a minimum of 5 years of professional programming experience in languages such as C++, Java, Go, or Python. You should possess at least 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, coupled with 1 year of experience in software design and architecture. A strong background of 3 years in developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or expertise in compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture is essential.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and 1 year of experience in a technical leadership capacity. Experience developing accessible technologies is also highly valued.
