Key responsibilities include designing, owning, and delivering software with a focus on secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable code. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on product features, manage dependencies, and ensure timely completion. A strong grasp of the software development lifecycle is essential. The role requires quickly acquiring proficiency in new technologies and adopting solutions from both internal resources and the open-source community. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are a must.
This position involves regular on-call duties and engagement with customer feedback. You will drive architectural modernization for improved application performance and reliability. Providing mentorship and support to team members through active collaboration, design, and code reviews is expected. Contributing to team knowledge through regular sessions is also a key aspect. The ideal candidate is self-driven, curious, proactive, results-oriented, a thought leader with strong communication and influencing abilities. Identifying opportunities to leverage AI for organizational productivity is also part of the role.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, coupled with at least 4 years of technical engineering experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of professional experience in software design, development, testing, and deployment. Expertise in service-side technologies (C#, Java) and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, Webpack, React) is highly valued. Demonstrated technical expertise in architecture, design, development, debugging, and testing is expected. Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus. A strong interest in AI, machine learning, or data science is also beneficial. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment. A passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing is also key.
