As part of Microsoft AI (MAI), this role will involve an expectation to work from the office at least four days per week, starting January 26, 2026, for employees within a specified commute distance of a Microsoft office in the U.S. or country-specific locations outside the U.S. This expectation is subject to local laws and regulations.

Design, develop, and maintain robust features for the Microsoft Ads Editor desktop application utilizing modern technologies like C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript. Mentor emerging engineers and collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver impactful solutions. Ensure code quality through clean, well-documented code and active participation in code reviews. Drive technical OKRs, focusing on improving application reliability and performance. Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for efficient releases. Actively engage in agile ceremonies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, coupled with 4+ years of technical engineering experience. Proficiency in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python is essential, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This role also necessitates meeting Microsoft's security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check. Preferred qualifications include experience with React, TypeScript, modern web frameworks, Electron, C#/.NET for large-scale applications, strong debugging skills, familiarity with accessibility standards, and experience with bulk data processing.
