Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Build highly scalable and resilient APIs and backend services, implementing event-driven solutions with Kafka. Develop cloud-native applications on PCF and containerized environments. Actively participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Drive software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure payment solutions. Utilize AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding for improved productivity, quality, and documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with a focus on reliability.
Requires strong proficiency in Java (8+ years preferred) and expert knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful Services, JPA/Hibernate, and Multithreading. A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns is essential.
Possess hands-on experience with Kafka and building asynchronous, event-driven architectures. Familiarity with reliability patterns like Outbox Pattern, Retry Mechanisms, Idempotency, and Dead Letter Queues is required. Experience with PCF, Docker, cloud-native application development, and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift) is crucial.
Demonstrate strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL, including performance tuning. Proficiency in Test-Driven Development, unit, integration, and API testing, along with secure coding practices and API security (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT) is expected.
Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot for code generation, testing, and debugging, and an ability to leverage these tools while maintaining quality and security standards are key.
