This Senior Software Engineer role focuses on Oracle database development within a dynamic engineering organization based in Pune. You will be an integral part of a globally distributed team, collaborating closely with onshore counterparts to ensure the high availability and stability of critical payment systems. Operating within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework, your responsibilities will include contributing to sprint planning and execution, developing and maintaining multi-technology stack solutions, and providing essential support for live systems to guarantee performance and adherence to enterprise standards. A key aspect of this role involves actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing engineering best practices, and driving automation for greater delivery efficiency and quality.

We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Software Engineer with a proven track record in complex, enterprise-scale environments. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle database development is essential, including demonstrated expertise in writing complex PL/SQL solutions. Proficiency in SQL performance tuning, data modeling, data migration, data quality, and ETL processes is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, experience supporting high-volume, high-availability production systems, and a strong understanding of implementing automated deployment pipelines and database release processes. Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies, particularly SAFe, is highly desirable, alongside robust problem-solving skills and a commitment to ownership.
