Our Trusted Servicing & Experiences (TSX) team enhances validation platforms and develops AI-driven tools for improved test execution and failure analysis.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop highly scalable, reliable software systems. You'll shape technical strategies and build cloud services operating at high availability. Design and develop innovative features and tools to manage extensive code changes in Windows OS, ensuring customer protection and productivity. Reproduce, debug, and resolve issues within the validation and experiences tool pipeline. Craft high-quality, bug-free fixes with minimal compatibility risk. Enhance the performance and reliability of existing systems. Collaborate effectively with OS engineers and various Microsoft partner teams to facilitate debugging, development, testing, and update deployment. Identify opportunities to improve products, tools, and processes for long-term benefit to Microsoft and its customers. Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers within the team.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, coupled with at least 4 years of technical engineering experience including coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of professional software development experience with C# and expertise in Azure and Cloud Technologies. A solid understanding of Azure and cloud infrastructure is essential. The ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and debug server-side, multi-threaded, and highly scalable applications is crucial. Experience with Azure services like Service Fabric, Kubernetes, Azure Batch, and Key Vault is highly desirable, as is proven experience with large-scale services, architecture, and technologies. Strong design and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and engineering excellence, are required. Demonstrated experience collaborating with geographically distributed partner teams and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also expected.
