Our Agentic Core Services Team focuses on a scalable, cloud-native platform for developing, executing, and managing agentic AI applications. You will play a key role in defining the future of how developers interact with AI, shaping programming models, user experiences, and a distributed runtime that orchestrates AI agents with enterprise-grade guarantees.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to define user requirements and driving the creation of design documents for products and platforms. You will be instrumental in writing, optimizing, and debugging code to enhance performance and maintainability. Effectively leverage product expertise and partner with project managers for release plans and work items.

Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding other engineers, and participating in on-call rotations to monitor system health and proactively address any degradations or interruptions. Continuously seek new knowledge and adapt to emerging technical trends and patterns to improve product availability, reliability, and efficiency at scale.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required, along with at least 7 years of experience in designing, building, and operating production-grade software and services at scale. Demonstrated expertise in complex technical challenges within distributed systems, AI/ML infrastructure, developer platforms, or cloud services is highly valued.

Experience engaging with customers during integration and deployment phases, incorporating feedback into product evolution, is a plus. Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft's security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
