As a Senior Software Engineer, you will plan, design, and develop robust technical solutions, identifying alternatives that align with MasterCard standards and best practices. You will lead daily system development and maintenance activities, ensuring we meet service level agreements (SLAs) while delivering innovative, cost-effective, high-quality solutions with rapid time-to-market. Your accountability extends to the full systems development lifecycle, including creating comprehensive requirements documents, use cases, designs, test strategies, performance benchmarks, and deployment plans.

Your role involves system maintenance, production incident problem management, root cause analysis, and remediation. You will select appropriate technical frameworks and methodologies, adapt templates as needed, and contribute to maintaining solution and technology roadmaps. You'll also research and evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks, participate in Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and assist in selecting vendor solutions. Collaboration with vendor resources for product support and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions on new technologies are key aspects of this position.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field, ideally with 3 to 5 years of experience delivering secure solutions within the Financial Services Sector. A broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is essential.

Key qualifications include exceptional energy, detail-orientation, proactivity, and the ability to perform under pressure independently. You must possess a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent relationship, collaborative, and organizational skills, are vital. A willingness to learn, embrace challenging opportunities, and work effectively within a diverse, geographically distributed matrix team is also required.

Educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Adherence to MasterCard's security policies and practices is paramount.
