This role focuses on developing and delivering robust software solutions, ensuring they align with MasterCard's rigorous standards and best practices. You will be instrumental in defining requirements, customizing applications, and integrating them seamlessly into MasterCard's ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include planning, designing, and developing innovative technical solutions that meet business needs while adhering to MasterCard's best practices. You will lead daily system development and maintenance activities, ensuring service level agreements are met and focusing on creating high-quality, cost-effective, and market-leading solutions.
Accountability extends across the full systems development lifecycle, encompassing the creation of detailed documentation such as requirements, use cases, designs, test strategies, performance benchmarks, deployment plans, and feasibility studies. You will also manage system maintenance, production incident problem resolution, and participate in on-call support rotations, selecting appropriate technical frameworks and methodologies.
A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience, is required. We are seeking candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally with 3 to 5 years of experience in delivering secure solutions within the Financial Services Sector.
A strong understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is essential. Candidates must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently under pressure. Excellent initiative, self-motivation, and strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, along with solid relationship, collaborative, and organizational abilities. A willingness to learn, embrace challenging opportunities, and contribute effectively within a diverse, geographically distributed team is highly valued.
