We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering robust software solutions, ensuring adherence to Mastercard's stringent standards, processes, and best practices.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing innovative and cost-effective technical solutions that meet business requirements. You will lead daily system development and maintenance activities, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Key duties include managing the full systems development lifecycle, creating high-quality documentation such as requirements, use-cases, and design artifacts. You will also be involved in system maintenance, production incident problem management, root cause identification, and remediation. This includes on-call support and selecting appropriate technical frameworks and delivery methodologies.

You will research and evaluate emerging technologies, participate in Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and collaborate with vendors. Mentoring and providing technical training to team members, ensuring knowledge transfer, and promoting Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes are vital. You will also coordinate offshore development activities.

A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required. We seek candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally including 3 to 5 years in delivering secure solutions within the Financial Services Sector.

A broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is essential. Candidates must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently under pressure. A strong sense of initiative, self-motivation, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
