As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and developing high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to Mastercard's rigorous standards and best practices. You will collaborate closely with product managers and architects on product definition, technical design, and development.

Your role will involve actively participating in scrum teams to deliver solutions, including creating design documents and proof-of-concepts. A key aspect of this position includes conducting code reviews across multiple scrum teams to uphold strong coding principles and best practices. You will also be expected to quickly learn and contribute to the platform's ongoing development.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Essential hands-on expertise includes Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, and Oracle SQL development.

Familiarity with UNIX and cloud-native development platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry is required. Extensive experience in designing and developing consumer-facing products is a mandatory qualification.
