Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain sophisticated full-stack applications utilizing Java/Spring Boot and React. Create scalable and maintainable backend services, along with robust REST APIs, gRPC services, and event-driven components.

Develop responsive, reusable, and maintainable user interfaces with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Architect appropriate communication patterns (REST, gRPC, asynchronous messaging) to meet business and technical needs. Take ownership of software initiatives from concept to production support, actively participating in architecture and design discussions focused on scalability, performance, and security.

Design efficient relational database models and optimize SQL queries. Integrate with messaging platforms like Apache Kafka. Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) and maintain comprehensive automated tests. Leverage AI coding tools to enhance development speed and quality, while critically evaluating AI-generated code. Drive engineering productivity through CI/CD and automation, and mentor junior engineers.

Demonstrated expertise in Java 17/21+, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, and RESTful API design. Strong proficiency in microservices architecture, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers.

Solid understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns. Experience with JPA/Hibernate, Spring Data, and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), including SQL optimization. Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems, and a grasp of multithreading and performance tuning.

Proficient in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for building responsive, component-based UIs. Experience with state management solutions like Redux or Context API. Knowledge of frontend performance, accessibility, and browser compatibility.

Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), JUnit 5, Mockito, Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright. Familiarity with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for code generation, debugging, and improving developer productivity, coupled with a commitment to responsible AI adoption and security standards.
