Join Amazon Customer Service's Associate Experience team as a Senior Software Engineer. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our customer service associates by developing a cutting-edge Associate Context & Insights platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to define and build an entirely new product space, impacting how one of the world's largest workforces is supported and improved.

Spearhead the architectural definition and end-to-end ownership of the Associate Context & Insights platform. Collaborate with a talented engineering team to bring this vision to life. Establish and uphold engineering excellence standards. Deliver the minimum viable product iteratively while influencing senior leadership on strategic investments that enhance associate capabilities, customer outcomes, and operational efficiency. Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Applied Science, and Business Intelligence, for continuous product enhancement.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. You should possess over 5 years of professional software development experience, including programming in at least one language. Extensive experience (5+ years) in leading the design and architecture of new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scaling, is essential. Proven experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader is also a prerequisite. Experience with the full software development lifecycle, from coding standards to operations, is preferred, as is foundational knowledge in Machine Learning and LLMs.
