Within Microsoft Fabric, the Data Integration team focuses on connecting, moving, and shaping data seamlessly across an organization's entire data estate. Our mission is to simplify data ingestion, transformation, and preparation for downstream analytics, real-time insights, and AI scenarios. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to this dynamic team.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead by example by developing extensible and maintainable code, optimizing performance, and applying best practices. You will proactively and reactively debug issues, conduct retrospective analysis, and ensure code quality through rigorous reviews.

Your role involves creating comprehensive testing plans, defining success metrics for tests, and driving automation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements, incorporate feedback, and establish continuous feedback loops to measure customer value and usage patterns. This position requires a collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality products at a fast pace.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, coupled with at least 8 years of technical engineering experience. Proficiency in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python is essential.

Mandatory experience in data integration, migrations, ELT, or ETL tooling is required. This role also necessitates meeting Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
