As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, coding, and deploying payment applications, AI, cloud, and machine learning platforms that deliver critical insights to major organizations and governments worldwide. You will contribute to the development of high-performance, scalable software solutions for leading brands, working within a dynamic, agile team environment.

This role involves active participation in team prioritization discussions with stakeholders and owning the delivery of tasks, including design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation, to meet business requirements.

You will lead code, design, and process trade-off discussions within your team, and conduct demos and acceptance discussions with Product Owners. Developing a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems is crucial.

Key responsibilities include driving the adoption of technology standards and frameworks, reviewing team members' code, test, and automation work, and mentoring less experienced engineers. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements, eliminate waste, and share knowledge within the wider program to enhance productivity and promote the reuse of patterns and practices.

We are seeking an individual with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience in backend development using Java, SpringBoot, and DevOps is essential, along with expertise in Oracle and cloud-native application design and deployment.

Proficiency in automation testing and a deep understanding of software development processes, including agile methodologies, are required. The ideal candidate will have experience leading quality initiatives and a results-oriented approach focusing on automation and code quality.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to guide team members in implementing effective solutions, are also key. Experience in the cards and payments domain, including settlement, reporting, and reconciliation, is highly valued, as is a strong understanding of information security principles.
