Our Data Governance & Regulations (DGR) program ensures compliance with global privacy regulations. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing sophisticated software solutions aligned with business requirements, showcasing exceptional technical acumen. Your role involves designing, developing, and implementing information systems, ensuring operational feasibility through thorough analysis and problem definition.
You will craft software solutions by understanding user needs, system flows, and work processes. Investigating complex problem areas and diligently following the software development lifecycle are key. Documentation, including flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code, will be crucial. You'll prepare and install solutions, optimize operations through systems analysis, and maintain information confidentiality.
Additional responsibilities include collecting and analyzing development issues, contributing to the organization's mission, and demonstrating advanced knowledge of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to rapidly learn and implement new technologies in a diverse, geographically distributed team environment.
We are seeking individuals with a proven track record of successfully delivering software applications, whether as an individual contributor, team lead, or development manager. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are paramount, alongside a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Candidates should possess the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and build strong professional relationships. A comprehensive understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is required. Furthermore, a strong grasp of technical knowledge, market insights, and specialized domain knowledge relevant to the team's focus is expected.
Essential technical skills include proficiency in Core Java 1.8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, No-SQL databases, JSON, and Cloud Technologies (PCF). Experience with Angular 4+ and working within an Agile environment is also required. A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience, is necessary.
