As a Senior Developer on the Mastercard Payment Networks team, you will play a key role in advancing our customer experience strategy through continuous innovation and problem-solving. You'll work within our Digital Network Architecture, adhering to Cloud Native principles and a Scaled Agile Framework.
Key responsibilities include: - Delivering high-quality design and code. - Driving design and development using Java 8+ with Object-Oriented SOLID principles and patterns for reusable, scalable microservices leveraging Spring Boot and Event-Driven Architecture. - Developing within a CI/CD environment using Cloud frameworks. - Selecting appropriate persistence mechanisms (RDBMS, NoSQL) based on project needs. - Implementing coding best practices and code quality gates. - Conducting Proofs-of-Concept based on business requirements. - Collaborating with various Mastercard teams for project success. - Fostering teamwork within an Agile environment. - Providing technical mentoring and training to junior developers.
We are seeking a Senior Developer with a passion for technology and strong Object-Oriented Design & Programming skills. A deep understanding of product development is essential.
Essential qualifications include: - Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot. - Experience in Online / Real-Time Systems development. - Proven experience in CI/CD practices. - Excellent communication skills. - Aptitude for quick learning and grasping new concepts. - Technical mentoring capabilities.
Desirable experience includes: - Working on Event-Driven Architecture. - Cloud-based development.
