We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to contribute to designing, developing, and enhancing scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performance applications. This role emphasizes a blend of full-stack expertise, system design acumen, problem-solving capabilities, technical ownership, and a forward-thinking approach to AI adoption. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver exceptional solutions from concept to production.

Key contributions involve designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot and React. Responsibilities include building scalable backend services, implementing REST APIs, gRPC services, microservices, and event-driven components. You'll develop responsive user interfaces with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, and design appropriate communication patterns. This role requires end-to-end ownership of software initiatives, participation in architecture discussions, and designing efficient relational database models. You will integrate with messaging platforms like Apache Kafka, follow TDD practices, build automated tests, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and quality. Driving AI for engineering automation, evaluating AI-generated code responsibly, and improving engineering productivity through CI/CD and tooling are also core aspects. Troubleshooting production issues, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering collaboration are essential.

Technical expertise includes strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21+, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture. Proficiency in gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and object-oriented design principles like SOLID is required. Experience with JPA/Hibernate, Spring Data, relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), and SQL optimization is necessary. Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar messaging technologies, and understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization are expected. On the frontend, strong React skills, JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge, and experience with state management solutions (Redux, Context API) are essential. A solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and frontend performance/security is also vital. Strong practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and proficiency in writing various automated tests (unit, integration, API, E2E) using frameworks like JUnit 5, Mockito, Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright is critical. Practical experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot is a must, along with the ability to effectively use AI for code generation, refactoring, and debugging, while critically validating AI-generated outputs and adhering to responsible AI adoption policies.
