Key responsibilities include designing and implementing robust automated test frameworks using Java and established testing libraries. You will execute comprehensive testing across APIs, UI, integrations, regression, and end-to-end scenarios. Collaboration is crucial; you'll work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

In this role, you will actively participate in Agile ceremonies, define effective test strategies, and seamlessly integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins. Analyzing defects, conducting root cause analysis, and driving overall product quality improvements are essential. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in quality engineering.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong proficiency in Java programming and experience with UI automation tools like Selenium or Playwright. Familiarity with event-driven applications, Kafka, and Cassandra is required.

Proficiency in API testing (REST Assured, Postman, SOAP UI) and database testing using SQL is necessary. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control systems like Git is essential. A strong understanding of BDD/TDD methodologies (Cucumber/JBehave) and microservices architecture is expected.

Candidates should be well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies. While not mandatory, experience with performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus. Excellent communication, quick learning abilities, and technical mentoring skills are highly valued for this senior role.
