This Senior Software Engineer role is within the Global Technology Services (GTS) team, supporting the Prepaid Management Services division. This team focuses on innovative prepaid solutions, including the Multi-Currency Cash Passport product, and integrates them with global brands. The Agile team is a self-organizing group of professionals with diverse skills, dedicated to delivering high-quality, web-based solutions for both internal and external customers.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives. You will be responsible for developing complex components independently and driving measurable improvements in software maintenance, operation, and runtime performance.

Your role involves optimizing and simplifying systems, leading initiatives to enhance engineering, testing, and operations, and troubleshooting problems to define root causes and implement permanent solutions. You will ensure delivered solutions are high-quality and scalable, based on Java technology. Additionally, you will perform feature estimations, adhere to development processes, and collaborate closely with team members to ensure timely task completion.

We seek a Senior Software Engineer with advanced expertise in JAVA development, including frameworks like Hibernate and Spring Boot, along with experience in Web Services, Eclipse, and Apache. Proficiency in Scala is also required.

A strong understanding of WebSphere, JBOSS, or Tomcat is essential, as is solid database development knowledge, particularly with Oracle (v10+) and PL/SQL. Experience with microservices and Pivotal Cloud Foundry is highly desirable. Familiarity with test-driven development practices, using tools such as JUnit and Maven, along with experience in Agile development methods and version control systems like Git, are crucial.

Candidates should also possess experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, Fortify, and Sonar, and be adept at code packaging and deployment automation.
