Our platform utilizes a streaming big data cluster, in-memory data grids, robust APIs, and intuitive UIs to deliver real-time decisions on a global scale. We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to contribute to this dynamic team in our Pune office.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our existing software development processes and driving Quality Engineering methodologies to build and deliver superior products. You will collaborate closely with development teams to integrate quality as a core component of the development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include mentoring the team while remaining hands-on with coding, and partnering with developers to refine and automate test and release procedures. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the coding lifecycle, from development to testing, and contribute to preventing fraud on every Mastercard transaction.

We are looking for a strong technical programmer with a proven track record in high-performance applications. Essential skills include deep knowledge of Java, Microservices, Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), and design patterns.

Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, RESTful services, JSON, and XML is required. You should also have strong knowledge of scripting languages like shell, Python, and Groovy, along with testing frameworks such as TestNG and Spock, and unit testing frameworks like JUnit.

Familiarity with Source Code Management (SCM) tools like Bitbucket and GitHub, functional and non-functional requirements, and experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes are necessary. Experience with build and configuration tools such as Maven and Gradle, and project management tools like Jira and Confluence is expected.

Knowledge of code coverage tools (Sonar) and application security tools (Blackduck, Checkmarx) is beneficial. You should be capable of creating automation tests (e.g., Rest Assured, Selenium WebDriver), integrating with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo), and possess good knowledge of observability and APM tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.

Experience working within Agile methodologies, collaborating with developers to ensure system reliability, performance, and testability, and exposure to cloud platforms like AWS are key. SQL knowledge with Oracle DB is also required.
