Join the Windows Enterprise and Security (ENS) team, a pivotal group within Microsoft dedicated to fortifying Windows operating systems. This team develops core security capabilities, including hardware-backed security, cryptography, and identity management, ensuring Windows is trusted globally for enterprises and governments. As a Senior Software Engineer in ENS India, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering security and enterprise features that have a broad impact across the Windows ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with partner teams, including those in Redmond, to build secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, coupled with at least 4 years of technical engineering experience. Proficiency in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python is essential. Solid experience in building and shipping production software using systems languages (e.g., C/C++/C#/Rust) and debugging complex systems is required.

Ideal candidates will have experience designing and developing features for large-scale, performance-sensitive systems, preferably with in-depth knowledge of Windows or OS internals. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience. Experience in platform security, cryptography, identity/authentication, secure boot/TPM, device security, enterprise policy/management, or licensing/entitlement systems is highly desirable. A proven track record of driving engineering quality through testing strategies, telemetry, reliability, and operational excellence is also valued. The ability to collaborate effectively across geographies and influence stakeholders is key.
