As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in: - Designing and implementing robust, automated test frameworks. - Writing high-quality automation code using Java and contemporary testing frameworks. - Conducting comprehensive API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. - Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle. - Actively participating in Agile ceremonies and defining effective test strategies. - Seamlessly integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like Jenkins. - Analyzing defects, performing thorough root cause analysis, and continuously enhancing overall product quality. - Mentoring junior engineers and championing best practices in quality engineering.
We are seeking individuals with: - Profound expertise in Java programming. - Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright. - Familiarity with event-driven applications, Kafka, and Cassandra. - Proven skills in API testing using tools like REST Assured, Postman, or SOAP UI. - Proficiency in SQL and database testing. - Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins. - Familiarity with Git for version control. - Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and frameworks like Cucumber or JBehave. - Understanding of Microservices architecture. - Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments. - Preferably, experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly. - Strong technical mentoring capabilities.
In this role, you will also be responsible for adhering to Mastercard's corporate security policies, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of information, reporting security violations, and completing mandatory security training.
