We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the analysis, design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions. This role involves defining application requirements, ensuring adherence to MasterCard standards, and developing robust integrations.

Drive the planning, design, and development of technical solutions that align with business needs and MasterCard standards. Lead daily system development and maintenance, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met while delivering innovative, cost-effective, high-quality solutions with rapid market entry.
Manage the full software development lifecycle, including creating detailed requirements, use cases, designs, test strategies, performance benchmarks, deployment plans, and feasibility studies. Conduct system maintenance, resolve production incidents, identify root causes, and provide on-call support. Select appropriate technical frameworks and methodologies, adapting templates as needed.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies. Participate in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to assist with vendor and technology selections. Collaborate with vendors for product support. Lead brownbag sessions on new technologies and provide technical training to the team. Uphold and promote Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
Mentor team members throughout the SDLC, ensuring adequate test coverage. Perform quality inspections and walkthroughs, including requirement, design, code, and security reviews, to ensure compliance with MasterCard standards. Coordinate offshore development activities.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates should possess 3 to 5 years of robust development experience with Java and the Spring Framework. Experience in delivering secure solutions within the Financial Services Sector is highly preferred.
A comprehensive understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is essential for this role.
