Payments Network Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting critical payment processing applications and customer integration solutions. You will be instrumental in driving the automation and validation of end-to-end transaction flows across key payment network services.

Design, develop, and support robust Java-based applications and APIs for payment processing platforms. Build and maintain sophisticated automated validation frameworks leveraging Java, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG, and API automation tools. Develop innovative solutions to support authorization, clearing, tokenization, settlement, and transaction processing workflows. Collaborate with customers, product teams, and fellow engineers to ensure seamless onboarding, integration testing, and production readiness. Create comprehensive automated validation for ISO 8583 messages, transaction routing, response handling, and exception scenarios. Analyze complex defects, troubleshoot intricate issues, and drive timely resolutions across multiple systems and teams. Contribute actively to architectural discussions, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence initiatives. Mentor junior engineers and independently manage features from initial design through production support.

A strong background in software development with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed systems is essential. Hands-on experience with Java-based automation frameworks like Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG, Rest Assured, or Selenium is required. Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale applications is necessary. A solid understanding of ISO 8583 messaging and payment transaction processing is crucial. Knowledge of authorization, clearing, tokenization, settlement, and payment lifecycle flows is expected. Prior experience working directly with customers or integration partners is beneficial. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills are a must. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
