As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in bridging development and quality assurance. You'll leverage best practices in Agile software development, quality assurance, and continuous integration/deployment. Your expertise in full-stack development and building automated testing frameworks from scratch will be key to driving shift-left testing, reducing deployment risks, and accelerating CI/CD pipelines for high-quality software delivery.

Collaborate closely with business teams to review requirements and elaborate stories, ensuring high-quality product delivery in every iteration. Act as a dual-hat engineer, actively participating in code reviews, architectural design discussions, and crafting comprehensive test plans. Review project test and implementation schedules, meticulously documenting test plans and acceptance criteria using tools like JIRA or Rally.

Contribute to requirement elaboration sessions, design robust solutions, and deliver stories within iterations. Develop and execute both automated and manual exploratory testing to confirm software aligns with business, security, and best practice requirements. Take ownership of end-to-end product development and quality, including defect management, status reporting, metrics creation, and issue escalation during the quality assessment phase. Grow your business and product knowledge, sharing insights to mentor junior team members and provide strong technical leadership.

Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale software applications as a Senior Developer. Possess deep expertise in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, RALLY, SQL, Oracle Database, Rational Team Concert, and Quality Center. Experience with both unit and integration testing, along with exposure to data virtualization tools, is essential.

Expertise in software development is required to build and utilize automation frameworks with technologies including Java, Spring, JUnit, Selenium, JBehave, Soap UI/Pro, REST, JSON, and XML, using Eclipse IDE. A strong understanding of technical solutions and software patterns, including architectural and design patterns at various levels, is crucial. Showcase demonstrated experience in developing high-quality strategies and execution, with a specific focus on cross-browser and cross-device testing.

Ability to create effective acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate them with Continuous Integration (Jenkins/Bamboo) and code coverage tools (Sonar, Clover) to achieve 80% or higher code coverage. Exposure to product delivery, performance engineering, and profiling (e.g., Java JVM, Databases) using tools like LoadRunner and JMeter is desirable.
