Collaborate with stakeholders to define user requirements for various scenarios. Drive the creation of design documents and identify dependencies for products, applications, services, or platforms. Write, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to enhance performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI. Utilize product feature expertise and partner with project managers to advance workgroup project and release plans. Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding other engineers and managing on-call responsibilities. Monitor systems for degradation, alert stakeholders, and initiate restoration actions. Proactively acquire new knowledge and adapt to emerging technical solutions and patterns to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance. Ensure consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.

Requires a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience is essential. Proficiency in C++ and/or C#, with exposure to big data, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and search technologies. Strong analytical skills, coupled with experience in customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud services such as Azure, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft 365. A solid understanding of security principles, including penetration testing and threat analysis. Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks and meet government security screening requirements is mandatory.
