A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. Proficiency in at least one software programming language and 5+ years of experience in leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including understanding design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Experience in a technical leadership role, such as a mentor or engineering team lead, is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, along with 5+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle. This includes expertise in coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Proven experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead, and a track record of contributing to the architecture and design of scalable, reliable systems are highly valued.
