As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the AWS DynamoDB team, you will own the entire development lifecycle. This includes gathering requirements, designing robust solutions, conducting design reviews, implementing features, performing code reviews, managing incremental feature launches, and ensuring operational excellence. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Your work will directly impact the scalability, reliability, and performance of a core AWS service.

We are looking for individuals with at least 5 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. A strong foundation in programming with at least one language is essential, alongside extensive experience in leading the design and architecture of new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scalability. Experience in mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading engineering teams is also a key requirement.
