Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions for high-performance, durable, and secure database services. Solve complex technical problems across the entire stack, often tackling challenges that have not been solved before. Build high-quality, highly available, and always-on products that enhance the customer experience. Collaborate with diverse teams to drive service performance, cost efficiencies, and security improvements. Participate actively in design discussions, code reviews, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, including 5 years in programming with at least one software language. You should also have 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scaling. Prior experience as a mentor, tech lead, or in leading an engineering team is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations is also highly valued.
