Join NVIDIA as a Senior SoC Design Engineer and contribute to the creation of groundbreaking next-generation System-on-Chips (SoCs). This role is for exceptional individuals passionate about developing innovative products and understanding the intricacies of complex SoC and subsystem construction, client needs, and diverse development lifecycles. Be part of a team that builds life-changing technology.
Lead SoC execution by collaborating with multi-functional teams, defining and managing dependencies across verification, DFT, STA, Low Power, and Validation. Oversee SoC assembly, quality checks, connectivity reviews, signoff, Lint, CDC, bug triaging, code reviews, and ECOs. Participate in architecture and micro-architecture reviews, working with Architecture, SW/FW, Design, Modeling, Verification, Emulation, and Post-Silicon Validation teams for first-time right designs. Support IP selection, identification, and licensing, and collaborate with IP development teams.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, is required. We seek candidates with 3-12 years of hands-on SoC design experience, proficiency in Verilog/System-Verilog, and knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB). Expertise in SoC Clocks/RST/Debug architecture, a solid understanding of peripherals (USB, PCIE, SDCC), and strong coding skills in Perl or Python are essential. Experience with RTL Build flows and Makefiles is necessary; synthesis experience is a plus. Familiarity with SoC level floorplans and developing tools/infrastructure using Perl/Python are advantageous. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities are a must.
