You will proactively forecast demands, manage capacity needs, and collaborate closely with development teams to build robust systems. This role involves in-depth data analysis for operational optimization, incident response, and maintenance tasks, alongside providing essential health and performance reporting. Key responsibilities include designing and architecting infrastructure for optimal reliability and functionality, forecasting future capacity needs, and collaborating with development teams to ensure scalable deployments. You will independently drive prototyping and identify automation opportunities. Manage the incident and service lifecycle through data collection, triage, and root cause analysis. Monitor service performance, document conditions, and execute maintenance tasks such as software installs and security updates. Provision and decommission resources as needed. Develop and test automation tools to resolve issues and gather metrics. Communicate service attributes and potential impacts of changes. Provide operational support, participate in on-call rotations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues to meet service level objectives. Conduct post-mortem analyses to prevent reoccurrence and experiment with new technologies to enhance performance and reliability. Identify and implement improvements for performance bottlenecks and deployments, sharing knowledge of site reliability trends. Analyze production data to inform business development decisions.

This role requires a proactive approach to managing work, monitoring timelines, and adapting to project shifts to ensure efficiency. You will collaborate across teams to align expectations and achieve shared objectives, building strong partnerships by understanding business and stakeholder needs.
