Join Mastercard's Cyber and Intelligence Solutions team as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and automating secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud platforms that power critical applications. This role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and modern cloud-native technologies like Amazon EKS.

Architect and implement secure, highly available AWS cloud infrastructure for production and development. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, creating reusable modules and enforcing best practices. Build, operate, and optimize Amazon EKS Kubernetes platforms for containerized applications. Create and maintain hardened machine images using HashiCorp Packer. Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks via CI/CD pipelines. Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager. Monitor platform health and performance using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana. Troubleshoot complex AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, and networking issues. Develop automation scripts in Python, Go, or Bash to enhance operational efficiency. Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud solutions. Create comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience is required. Demonstrate 5+ years of experience designing and deploying AWS infrastructure with Terraform. Proven ability in developing reusable Terraform modules and managing Infrastructure as Code in enterprise settings. Possess 5+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Strong experience building and operating Amazon EKS or Kubernetes platforms. Proficiency in administering Amazon Linux and Ubuntu Linux. Experience with building machine images using HashiCorp Packer. Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Solid understanding of AWS networking, IAM, VPCs, load balancing, Route 53, storage, and security. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana. Demonstrated programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication abilities are essential.
