This role offers a unique opportunity to impact flagship silicon programs by owning power-feature productization. You will tackle complex, cross-functional challenges, driving solutions for power failures and building robust AI-enabled characterization capabilities. Your work will directly influence performance, efficiency, and reliability across NVIDIA's diverse product lines, from consumer devices to server solutions.
Lead cross-functional efforts across architecture, validation, firmware, software, and production to ensure a clear and executable power productization strategy.
Characterize and validate new power-saving features, troubleshoot silicon issues, and collaborate with SW/FW teams to productize advanced capabilities.
Resolve intricate silicon issues through structured analysis and root-cause closure, codifying fixes into reusable methodologies.
Design and implement AI-driven workflows for automated data analysis, metric extraction, and trend monitoring across multiple bring-ups, ensuring rigorous validation and reliability.
Serve as the primary technical authority for multi-functional decisions, balancing power, thermal, performance, firmware, and schedule constraints.
Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams, including system architects, chip and board designers, and reliability specialists.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of experience, is required. Demonstrated expertise in post-silicon bring-up and validation of silicon power features for complex ASIC or SoC programs is essential.
Possess deep hands-on skills in power-saving mechanisms, power characterization, tester-to-system correlation, and laboratory fundamentals. Proven ability to resolve ambiguous power failures with productized fixes is crucial.
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of silicon behavior across architecture, firmware, validation, and platform interactions. Strong decision-making skills are needed to navigate tradeoffs involving power, thermal, performance, firmware, design, validation, and schedule.
Showcase a proven AI-enabled workflow developed or scaled for silicon characterization or validation, demonstrating team adoption, measurable impact, and robust validation discipline.
