This role is crucial in driving Google's technological advancements, from developing cutting-edge AI models to providing the robust platforms that enable developers worldwide. Your contributions will span software and hardware, influencing world-leading hyperscale computing, TPUs, Vertex AI, Google Global Networking, and data center operations.

Develop and execute comprehensive tests for post-silicon validation and hardware emulators, supporting bring-up processes from prototyping through production.

Lead debugging efforts to identify and resolve complex, cross-functional issues across pre-silicon prototyping, post-silicon bring-up, and production environments.

Ensure thorough functional coverage in validation to guarantee design integrity and confidence.

Contribute to the operation and maintenance of our hardware emulation platform for seamless pre-silicon integration and validation.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in functional silicon validation using languages like C, C++, or Python, or in developing embedded software.

Proven experience in silicon bring-up, functional validation, characterization, and qualification.

Proficiency with board schematics, layout, and debug methodologies, including hands-on experience with lab equipment.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a focus on computer architecture. Experience with hardware emulation, pre-silicon integration, power characterization, PCIe, DDR, scripting for automation, and SoC architecture, including boot flows, is highly advantageous.
