Our diverse teams, spanning software to hardware, are shaping hyperscale computing, including work on TPUs, Vertex AI for Google Cloud, global networking, data center operations, and systems research.

Develop and execute post-silicon validation tests and utilize hardware emulators to support bring-up processes from prototyping through validation.

Lead debugging and investigation efforts to identify the root causes of complex, cross-functional issues, encompassing pre-silicon prototyping, post-silicon bring-up, and production.

Ensure comprehensive functional coverage through validation to guarantee design integrity.

Contribute to the operation and maintenance of our hardware emulation platform for pre-silicon integration and validation activities.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.

Demonstrated 8 years of experience in functional silicon validation (e.g., C, C++, Python) or embedded software development is essential.

Proven experience in silicon bring-up, functional validation, characterization, and qualification.

Familiarity with board schematics, layout, and debugging using standard lab equipment is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a focus on computer architecture.

Experience with hardware emulation, including hardware/software integration (pre-silicon emulation and software test development) is advantageous.

Knowledge of power characterization, Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe), and Double Data Rate (DDR) is beneficial.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Python for automation development is a plus.

Understanding of SoC architecture, including boot flows, is desirable.
